Initially crafted to commemorate the first anniversary of the audacious Arrogant Bastard Ale, Double Bastard Ale made its debut in November 1998 as an intensified rendition of the already assertive original. With an immense malt foundation and an excessive quantity of hops, this dark amber behemoth is a brew that will cater exclusively to a select few, and that's precisely our intention. We didn't conceive this formidable ale to appease anyone but ourselves.
