Description
Made from 100% Kisi, a Georgian grape variety and sourced from old vines grown in the Kakheti region in Georgia.
The wine is fermented on the skins for six months in Qvervri, clay vessels buried underground following the 8,000 year old Georgian tradition. Look up the video on orange wines, the name you can find for such wines, gaining popularity worldwide.
The wine shows a beautiful orange colour which comes from its extended skin contact, so this wine is also know as orange wine.
Strong notes of peach, dried apricots, almonds and herb spices are followed by a dry long, layered finish and firm tannin. Enjoy it with grilled chicken or pork with a pomegranate demi glaze.
