Distilled in 2008 and aged for over 13 years, this single malt from an anonymous distillery on the Orkney Islands (far north of Scotland) has been bottled from a batch of only three casks. This indulgent and maritime whisky offers us minty and smoky notes. The Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Casks are a tasting exploration of refined single malts, bottled in small batches of three to ten casks. Each bottling showcases the variety of styles and flavors found throughout Scotland, as well as the unique angels’ shares of each region. Bottled at 48% without coloration or cold filtration, Reserve Casks are intended to appeal to both novice and expert palates.
