The 69% ABV bottling available for export is the "light" version, locals prefer the 75% ABV one.
Grenadians are so proud of their Rivers that a famous adage around the island is "Don't say rum, say Rivers!"
Wild and opulent, intense and vegetal. River Antoine rum is aromatic with fresh sugar cane, liquorice, pepper and hints of smoke. On the palate, it is powerful and warm, with hints of Williams pear, strawberry, lime and hay. The finish is long and balanced, full of fresh mint, star anise and burnt rubber.
