Description
V14.2 uses liquid hops in its recipe.
“But, mysterious Rock Beer person speaking to me through the interweb; Why two versions, what's the difference?”... glad you asked!
To answer the not so age old question of what is better, traditional Hop Pellets or new Flowable Hop Products? You've all heard of flowable hop products by now... You haven't? Well, get out from under that rock (Pun very much intended). Flowables are all the rage these days- super concentrated hop products designed to give you maximum flavour, and maximum yield in the brewhouse.
Each of the versions our (possibly) insane Brew Team have cooked up have the same malt base, yeast and ferment profile but one beer has been brewed with all flowable liquid hops while the other exclusively uses old skool hop pellets. We have also done the math and made sure that all hop additions are of equal equivalent dosage so you will be able to do a direct comparison.
We couldn't be more stoked with how both these beers have turned out! But who will be the winner? ... Science, of course! Also anyone that decides to try a combo of the two! Highly recommend.
